June 29 - July 4, 2008

We suggest that participants arrive on Sunday, 29 June and leave on Saturday, 5 July. The easiest way to get to Pingree Park is to fly to Denver International Airport (DEN), rent a car, and drive to Pingree by way of Fort Collins.
Directions to Pingree from the airport are as follows:
From DEN get on I-25 North. This is the main north south interstate in Colorado. To get to I-25 N from DEN head north on Pena Boulevard. Take exit 6B for E-470 N toward Ft. Collins. (This is a toll road, toll is roughly $2, paid $1 at at time). Take exit 47 to get on I-25 N. Go north on I-25 to exit 269 (the state highway #14 exit) and proceed west on state highway 14 till you reach its junction with federal highway #287. Continue north on the combined 287/14 highway until you reach Ted's Place. Here highway 14 leaves 287 to the left. Follow highway 14 west to the Pingree Park turn off. The turn off is clearly marked and is approximately 27 miles from Fort Collins. Continue another 18 miles up the Pingree Park road (this is a dirt road most of the way) to Pingree Park. The total driving time from the airport to Pingree should be about 3 hours, (1 1/2 hours to Fort Collins (about 75 miles) and 1 1/2 hours more to Pingree (about 55 miles more)). In case of emergency, the number at Pingree Park is 970-881-2150.
