Einstein metrics on spheres

Abstract: Einstein metrics are specially nice metrics that one can put on compact manifolds. This talk explains what Einstein metrics are and gives a method to construct many new examples, paying special attention to spheres and exotic spheres. Joint work with Boyer, Galicki and Ghigi.
