A block of rooms has been reserved at the Crowne Plaza Hotel River Oaks which is located at 2712 Southwest Freeway approximately 2 miles from the Rice Campus. We have arranged transportation between the Hotel and Rice at the beginning and end of each conference day. The schedule is posted on the Program page or available as a pdf file here.
If you wish to apply for support to cover lodging expenses, please request support on the registration form. If your request for support is approved, we will pay your hotel bill (nightly rate and applicable taxes) directly. Supported participants must inform conference organizers of cancellation or modification of reservation by Noon on Tuesday, October 27 to avoid liability for one night's room rate.
If you are not planning to apply for support, then you will need to make your own hotel reservations with the hotel directly. You should mention that you will be attending the TGTC conference at Rice University to get the Rice hotel rate.
